Water heating system uses heated water to pass through the circulatory pipes. This heated water passes through the radiators which are connected to the system. Heated water can be forced to pass through the circulatory pipes through air pressure. Radiators would distribute the generated heat into the rooms of a house.

Central gas heating system is the widely used system in various countries. Central heating system can be used to heat only certain areas of a house through the process called zoning. Fuel storage is not necessary in case of the gas heaters as gas lines are directly accessible to houses. Efficiency level of gas heating system can be maximized by using condensing boilers.
